He pointed that the satellite has been launched successfully and emphasized: Iran has launched its first satellite two years ago and all process from designing to manufacturing and performing other steps such as satellite carrier and control stations has conducted in the country by home professionals.
"It will be considered as very big success for the Muslim world because only eight countries have exclusively controlled this technology before", minister of ICT asserted.
He continued: "Today, the Muslim people have achieved this technology and prepared to give all these achievements in the form of space cooperation to other Islamic countries".
He pointed to the space programs developed in the next five years plan and said: Iran has developed some completed plans in this area such as manufacturing and launching the telecommunications, radio and television satellites.
"These are expensive technologies that Iran has achieved them from the view point of expertise and technology", Dr. Reza Taghipour emphasized.
He added: "We hope the Islamic world will be considered as an independent pole in space technology in the near future by unity and economic and technical cooperation".
According to the report, Minister of ICT in another part of his speech referred to the detailed plan of the West to conquer the cultural world and said: "The West has a great program for cultural invasion and is being implemented them step by step".
He pointed that we should develop Islamic culture by using the modern technologies and cultural tools in order to implement the reverse engineering on the cultural engineering designed by the West.
Dr. Reza Taghipour asserted: "Today, communications network and equipments are considered as the most effective tools to transfer the cultural messages".
