PR of the Ministry of ICT – Dr. Reza Taghipour in the opening ceremony of Elecomp exhibition said:" Developing the local industry and technology in ICT area is one of the main strategies adopted by ICT public work group".
"Another strategy is the applications development that we are going to do that by using the local power and implementing the first strategy as much as possible", he added.
He pointed to the main goals defined in the Ministry of ICT and continued: "Promoting ICT share in GDP is one of these objectives that we hope to reach to a proper number till the end of the fifth development plan".
Minister of ICT said that ICT field has been known as an effective sector in management and added: "taking advantage of this area will increase the efficiency and implement the consumption patterns improvement".
"No doubt that ICT business will be bloomed in the 90th decade with projects and programs which have been defined by ICT work group", he continued.
He emphasized:" We are trying to support the businesses in this field in order to be a profitable economy and with the efforts is doing by ICT management work group".
Dr. Reza Taghipour pointed to opening the centralized purchasing system and said: "A great number of public purchases will be transferred to the electronic field by implementing this system".
He stated that Digital signing project will be implemented next week so many huge processes will be allowed to appear in cyberspace by implementing this project.
"Some other steps such as promotion and integration e- banking as well as trying to perform e- customs and taxes are being implemented in this field", he continued.
Dr. Reza Taghipour referred that national bandwidth capacity has been doubled in the current year and continued:" It will be increased to 11 times by opening the first phase of Core and super core project".
He pointed to the space security development in proportion to develop the other sections as another program is being implemented.
Minister of ICT by referring to the targeted subsidies plan said:" IT is an important factor for implementing this plan because processing this volume of data is not possible without using IT".
PR of the ministry of ICT reported - the agreement for connecting the schools in the country to the information network has been signed in the ceremony by Dr. Taghipour, Minister of ICT and Dr. Hajibabaee Minister of education.
